Data deletion

Effective as of June 15, 2026. This page describes how to request deletion of your personal data, processed content, and third-party connection tokens (YouTube, Facebook, Google Drive) stored on ReelFlow.

1. What gets deleted

When we execute a deletion request, we remove the following from our systems:

• Your user account and access credentials.
• All encrypted OAuth tokens you authorized (YouTube, Facebook Pages, Google Drive, etc.).
• Processed content: videos, images, transcripts, captions, and metadata generated from your material.
• Usage data, application logs, and publishing history.
• Billing information we are not required to retain by law.

2. How to request deletion

You have three options to initiate a request:

• Email (recommended): write to hello@reelflowmedia.com from the email associated with your account, with the subject Data deletion request. Include your full name, company, and the Facebook Page URL(s) under management.
• From the dashboard: if you have access to the console, go to Settings → Account → Delete account. Deletion starts immediately.
• By revoking Facebook permissions: at Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites remove ReelFlow’s access. We will receive Meta’s notification and remove the associated tokens and data within 30 days at most.

3. Timing

• Confirmation: we acknowledge your request by email within 5 business days confirming that we are processing it.
• Full deletion: data is removed from active systems within 30 calendar days at most.
• Backups: encrypted backups rotate within 90 calendar days at most, at which point your data also disappears from archives.

4. Legal exceptions

We may need to retain certain minimal information for legal, accounting, or tax obligations, or for rights defense in disputes. Examples: invoice records (IRS requires 7 years in the United States), security logs associated with incidents under investigation, or information required by a competent authority through a formal order. Such data is kept isolated with restricted access and deleted upon expiration of the applicable legal period.

5. Specific deletion of Meta data

In accordance with Meta Platforms (Facebook) requirements, ReelFlow processes data deletion requests from both the user directly and automatic notifications via the Data Deletion Callback URL configured in our Meta app. If you revoke access to ReelFlow from Facebook, we generate a confirmation code you can verify by contacting us. Execution is complete, not partial.

6. Specific deletion of YouTube data

In accordance with the YouTube API Services Terms of Service, data obtained via the YouTube Data API is automatically deleted 30 days after the last activity, upon revocation of OAuth permissions, or when you request deletion. You can revoke ReelFlow’s access to your Google account at security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.
